Balay Mindanaw celebrates the gains of the Bangsamoro struggle for self-determination.

The Bangsamoro has won a significant and major but incomplete victory. The victory will only be complete when change is felt by each and every Moro.

Moro leaders like Minister of the Parliament Abdullah Makapaar also known as Commander Bravo, have repeatedly declared that failure is not an option for Bangsamoro Autonomous Region of Muslim Mindanao (BARMM).

The Camp Bilal Community Development Plans (CDP) formulated by the leadership and residents of the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) North Western Mindanao Front under Commander Bravo is the fruit of the collective and democratic efforts of the Moro community, as they transition from war to peace.

We cannot turn our back on those people who help themselves.

Through this CDP, they have put their future unto their own hands, following the path of peace.

They have collectively looked at their past, looked deeply into their problems, assessed and appreciated their own local resources, and dreamed about their future – not hollow fleeting dreams, but solid concrete plans and projects. They have committed to work together, stay together and face their future together. They have committed to help themselves.

Now, they are calling on us to join them in their journey. No, they are not asking us for dole outs. All they are asking is for us to fill the gaps. They will start with what they already have. They are just claiming what is rigthtfully theirs – appropriate services and support from the government and the private sector.

Balay Mindanaw commits to continue journeying with them so that the gains of this victory may reach each and every Bangsamoro family and community.
