There they met the MSWDO for the list of potential beneficiaries to the three tent communities. Mayor Lopez was having relief distribution that he wasn\u2019t able to come as agreed upon.<\/p>\n<p>The team proceeded to have an ocular inspection of the sites, finding out cracks along the area where the latrines are supposed to be installed. They came up with a suggestion to either look for another site or ensure fencing of the area to avoid causing potential harm especially among children. --smush-placeholder-aspect-ratio: 390\/585;\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>They then went to see Tatay Billy in Antequera for their plan about the 120 SRKs for the 6 priority barangays.<\/p>\n<p><b>On networking and partnership building<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Bibing and Bernard had meetings with CSO partners. Fr. Kiking of Our Lady of Lourdes Parish shared about how CSOs worked immediately after the quake; that they mobilized their own resources and did distribution of goods &#8211; with or without the LGUs.<\/p>\n<p>We shared to him our actual experience, challenges encountered as well as lessons learned aftermath Sendong and Pablo. We also cited to him the important role of Abp. Tony Ledesma, which encouraged interfaith groups to participate in the entire work. That overall, CSOs despite the differing appreciation of the political environment in CDO moved to prioritize reaching out affected families \u2013 conscious in making them active participants in the process such as managing their tent communities, attending meetings and most importantly, discussing about permanent shelter and setting up their urban container gardening projects. Fr. Kiking told us to share all this in the scheduled CSO meeting in his office.<\/p>\n<p>Over dinner, the team was able to listen to Maytee\u2019s (Bangon Bohol) sharing about their ER work.
